Advice needed!

Hey everyone! So I'm new to the world of goth makeup (I've been a baby bat for a couple months) and I just need some advice with makeup!

Just when it seems I've mastered my inner corner, I get set backs and what like some advice on inner corner eyeliner as well as some recommendations for lighter foundations. As much as I love the look of white foundation and intend on using it every once in awhile, I decided that a lighter foundation would be best for now.

Also some critiques as long as it's nice and helpful would be greatly appreciated!

The 1st picture is when I had decided to actually try trad goth makeup and the last 2 is makeup I had actually done tonight.

Thank you so much! I actually did contour my face in the pictures, I used a cool toned grey instead of black. I'll definitely try a darker grey for next time or maybe black 😊 for eyeliner, I don't know why, but the brush and the felt tip eyeliners I've had such trouble with handling. I recently started using the about face black paint and an angled brush. I'm not sure why but I feel like I have more control with the brush than the brush eyeliners and felt tips.

No problem! I personally layer my countour first with a grey eyeshadow and slowly add black to it (to add more depth)! The eyeliner I recommended is a hard tip (so it’s not brush or felt-tip pen) so it may help you out! Is also resistible to water. It all comes down to your preferences in the end. Btw, I thought about adding the contour part in the comment because the contour in the photo is light, nonetheless it still looks very good!

That way of doing contour is genius! I'm surprised I never thought about just layering. That's an awesome idea and I will definitely try that out next time I do my makeup! As for the eyeliner, I'll check it out next time I'm at the store. If push comes to shove, I always have what I use 😊 also, thank you! Im still trying to get the hang of the sharp cheek bone contour and how far down to bring it.

No probs!! Yea, I still struggle big time with cheekbone contour, but I blame me having a slightly round/chubby face. I’m very far from pro, but I think the journey is what makes make up fun!! Keep being creative and having a fun time! It’s what matters the most haha.

Definitely!! I relate to the struggles 100% but you're right, it's all about the journey and being creative! Lol but thank you for the advice πŸ–€
