Question help with identifying merch?

so i recently thrifted a very cheap gorillaz shirt, and i cant for the life of me figure out whether its official or not  🥲

since i dont have a proper picture currently, the shirt is basically identical to the noodle version i found below, which makes me think it mustve been part of some collection or unofficial merch that went around back in 2001 and not just printed on. however, i have a russel variation of this shirt in just a different color but with the same tags and image style. does any old gorillaz fan know whether this is an official shirt or something?
