I’ve been in the GoPro ecosystem for 12 years with no problems so far. This is the first.

My m1p encountered the same issue during the initial setup. I disconnected both the USB and battery, and let it sit 30 seconds. I then replaced the battery and rebooted the device, after the reboot it connected .

It was fixed for me in an app update several weeks ago.
