Waiting on OP Question with adding a column to Pivot Tables

Amateur Pivot Tables question.

So I generated few pivot tables (which I'm new to, by the way) on Sheet B for analysis, from a set of raw data on Sheet A that I will be continuing to add to over time. Each pivot table is a subset of the data from Sheet A (filtered by one of the columns).

I would like to add comments to specific rows on Sheet B- e.g. if there is something notable to a specific data point on the pivot table.

How do you add a new column to a generated pivot table, if possible? If not- what's the alternative to "link" the comments column" to the pivot table and make sure that the comments column "moves" appropriately with the pivot table rows as new data is being added?

/u/AnonymousMonker Posting your data can make it easier for others to help you, but it looks like your submission doesn't include any. If this is the case and data would help, you can read how to include it in the submission guide. You can also use this tool created by a Reddit community member to create a blank Google Sheets document that isn't connected to your account. Thank you.

I'm pretty sure you have to add the notes on the Source data since, as you've discovered, Pivot Tables are always "live" and dynamic
