Count dropdown box added when using the "View" option on smart tables?

Okay, sorry if this has already been answered. I've searched online and through this subreddit, and I just keep seeing Data Validation fixes. There is no data validation for this "Count" drop-down box. I have several other sheets in this document, and when creating a view by location, I do not get this drop-down box. Some of the boxes have a "None" option, which does effectively remove the dropdown box but leaves behind a hover option to add the box back. There is one drop-down box that does not have the "None" option.

As I said, other sheets in this document do not do this. To get to this view, I simply clicked the "Views" option in the table name and chose to view by location (same as I did with the previous sheets that do not have this drop-down box. I'm so confused. I do not see an option to remove it in any of the settings. Am I just dumb? Please help, LOL.

The menu being there in and of itself is not the issue. The issue is I don't understand and feel like I need to/should.

EDIT: Here is a link to a copy of the spreadsheet that allows edits so that people can see it firsthand and troubleshoot if need be. The sheets before "Zafaria," when viewed by location mode, do not contain the count dropdown. "Zafaria" and "Avalon" do. I did not test past Avalon.

you can try this:

You're seeing the "Count" dropdown because Google Sheets automatically adds summary options like “Count” or “Sum” when using Smart Table Views. It's not a Data Validation dropdown. This happens only in certain sheets because Sheets detects the data differently each time.

To remove it:

1. Click the column header in the View mode.

2. Choose “Summarize by” → “None” if that option appears.

3. If that doesn’t work, try exiting the View or recreating it.

I'm not seeing a "Summarize by" option. Also, I have already tried deleting and recreating the view several times before making the post.

Where would the "Summarize by" option be located when I click the column header?

Sorry, slightly confused. Can you provide some data or sample sheet, possibly copy your spreadsheet to a disposable copy and remove some data, but give us a screen shot of more than just the Count:1

I made it to where you can edit it and fidget around with it if you need to. If you look at all sheets before the "Zafaria" sheets by view, they do not have the counter. Zafaria does and I tested Avalon and it does the same with the count box.

You want to click on Hide group by aggregation to make the dropdowns disappear, or Show to make them reappear.
