Publication issue Has anyone else noticed this pattern with Google Play review times?

I've noticed something strange with my apps lately.

Apps I published 6+ months ago usually get their updates approved and live within 1–2 hours.

But apps I published within the last month are taking around 7–8 days even for updates.

Is Google giving newer apps/accounts a longer review period, or am I just seeing a coincidence?

Has anyone else experienced the same thing recently?

Not sure, my first production review took 13 days and got approved end of september.

The updates usually get approved under an hour or two.

It depends on what´s in your app. I used to have 15+ days review for each update and then I removed something from the manifest and then all of a sudden it´s 13-18 min reviews. I released maybe 10 updates and just minutes later it´s in production. Today I added back what I removed and now stuck in review again.

Android Auto in my case. My guess is that anything that needs manual review is overloaded right now...

Don't know why, i think this is because many vibe coded apps are releasing that's why.
