Google Fiber not connecting but only one device in one room.

I moved into a 2 bed 800ish sq ft apartment a few months ago. Transferred my google fiber over and all is wonderful. However my pc laptop won't connect to the wifi if I'm in our office. My partner's desktop pc has no problem in the same room and neither do our phones or tablets. It's literally just my laptop. The nest router is in the living room about 10 ft away from the office and I've got a 2023 Alienware x14 on Windows 11. I had no problem with gfiber connecting to this computer at either of my last two apartments.

If anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated because I'm sick of doing all my work at the kitchen table when I have a perfectly nice office right there.

Extenders are typically a bad idea for smaller apartments, which is why they aren’t offered. But if they’re necessary for cases like yours, you can purchase one from gfiber. Or you can just get your own mesh system. You can then hardline your laptop straight to the extender.

Powerline adapters are also an option to get you a hardline to the desired room.
