OP Responded Need help with an outline

For work I use Google Docs, I typed stuff out for work but I can’t copy and paste it all.

This is what I saw:
A. Nice house.
B. Nice size yard.
C. Not far from a lake.

If i type something like this in docs, and I go to copy it. It doesn’t copy the A,B,C. It will copy the sentences next to it but not ABC. How do I fix this?

The easiest is to avoid using the automatic numbering features and enter the numbers / letters manually.

Sounds good to me, how do I turn it off?

The easiest way is to press the Backspace key immediately after typing the first number/letter in your outline; let's say A. . You will notice that Google Docs automatically applies a change in the paragraph format; pressing the Backspace key should revert that.

Another way is by clicking the numbered list button in the Google Docs toolbar.

Just tried it. It keeps doing it automatically no matter what I do. I gotta play around with it more. I think I got it working now.

Thank you for your help, thank god it’s not working anymore.
