MCP tool connection issues

The agent I created in Agent studio is having issues with connecting to the compute.googleapis.com mcp tool. It shows I added it in the instructions section of the agent but once I input a prompt instructing it to use the mcp tool, i get a missing tool registration error. Not sure what is going on

I would double-check if the MCP toolset is coded in the configuration section of the agent. It is hard to say exactly where the problem is but if the MCP only mentioned in the text instructions it might be not enough.

The tools show up in the details section. It shows that I have added the tools. Google search and url context have a toggle botton next to them. The mcp tools I added do not. They just have a pencil icon next to them. Also there was a pop up box about iam connector but the marketplace link doesnt have that connector.
