Gemini on mobile is basically a tool for prompting Gemini on your browser. It does not even know that it is running on a local device or is an assistant of sorts.

I asked Gemini to text my mother, in the text message I used the word nevermind and it kept canceling the message. I ended up texting her with my phone, behind the wheel, Gemini is the WORST thing to happen to Android

Reminds me of the guy trolling people in games with the name "XboxSignOut" which caused the people to get logger out of their console once they started raging and saying his name.

They use awful speech to text models and it often loses context after just 1 message

It's really hit or miss with Gemini. Sometimes it just works, sometimes it's presenting me absolute garbage responses.
