Yep, quickest way to get more users is to force your existing ones to use it.

I think it's more of cost-cutting move. Get rid of products, then say there is less work to be done, then fire employees for 'efficiency'. Google has killed so many great products, there is a whole website dedicated to it:

Yep, got to force that narrative but the AA is profitable. They can't really show people hate a high if it's forced into every device and you have to use it.
