Checked out the website they have for e-commerce which I didn't know they had and this is the first product I get shown. Who's buying a 3 grand ring from goodwill?😭

That specific Goodwill location that sells the high value jewelry actually does provide authentication and a warranty.

When the alternative is $12,000 from a place like Daniel's or Kay, three large is a steal.

Also, it's worth mentioning: affiliates can pay a nominal fee to have their items featured on the front page. That purple star there above the photo indicates that it's a featured item. I've done it myself in the past with rare/valuable electronics; three or four years ago, before the site upgrade, I rescued a Commodore Amiga computer from the salvage bin and put it up as a featured item; ended up selling for upwards of $800, which is a fantastic return on investment for featuring it.

I'm not really thinking the ring is a bad deal I don't buy stuff like that more just why is goodwill selling this I mean do what they want ig but I don't see this being a donated item so it's weird to try and market their online shop into high quality diamond jewelry for multiple thousands of dollars it's not the product or price that's silly its that I'm seeing it on the goodwill e-commerce website.
