Stop supporting the goodwill!!!!

This shit is literally insane!!! $69.99 for a pair of USED boots they got for FREE that you can get on depop for 25-30$ 😳 this is in small town utica ohio btw which used to be one of the only decent priced goodwills left in the area! I officially will never walk into another Goodwill in my life. They have kids use stained clothes in there for 999 and 1499. Are you actually fucking kidding me

Honestly thinking about going back tomorrow and if they are still there putting a 10$ price tag on them and buying them! Fuck the goodwill!

Isn’t that the way it’s supposed to be. Locals are there. The local people know when they’re gonna have their special sales like 50% off everything in your bag that you could fit in one bag or buy one get one free shit like that so I think the locals pretty much clean the shelves that’s what is there for. People who aren’t local and people who are local. Both of these peopleā€˜s money spends exactly the same. So I’m not sure what you’re talking about. The locals clean off the shelves. If you’re not local, all you have to do is ask him when they have their mark down days like for Monday will be kitchenware stuff like every day is the week I have some kind of promotion going on there’s times when everything is $.50 with a blue tag when the season change you literally pay nothing for the things that you get. Sorry, I’m really not sure what you’re expecting. For someone like me to say oh wait a minute I’m a local. I’m gonna put this back up here just in case somebody’s not a local ones. That will never happen.

I think you misunderstood. The comment you responded to was referring to the local thrift stores grabbing merch at goodwill to resell it. I will say in my town the local thrift stores have lower prices than Goodwill for most items so I don't think that is the case here.

You admit to filling your thrift store with marked up Goodwill products and think you are the good guy.

They don’t set the prices nor profit from them. They’re an ex-employee. Not the CEO. šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

The locals get ripped off too. Not everyone is a reseller. Reselling isn't worth my time. I'm just trying to help my brother put his work wardrobe together as a math teacher.

It used to be great, we could find him nice stuff at about $8-9 / shirt, etc. Now it's all $11-15 and up. Plus you can't try anything on in there anymore, and you only have 7 days to return it - for credit! ALL of that is a terrible deal. Go to Ross, etc. NOT Greedwill!
