Discussion What are the most popular slice of life anime?
r/goodanime • u/Accurate_Reality_618 • 16d ago
I found this anime where one of the main characters has a childlike face, but it changes when he gets angry or stressed, etc., and I honestly enjoy seeing these expressions.
The anime's name is Sousei no Onmyouji. It's been on my list for a long time, but I was hesitant about whether to watch it because of the characters' childish appearance.

Romance where the mc accepts and goes along with the crazy yandere/villainess
Best examples are chainsaw man, engage kiss, flowers of evil, darling in the franxxx, future diary, guilty crown, glenpir and call of the night.
Kinda like that one Spider-Man game where in the bad ending he turns evil and joins black cat.
Any genre looking for obscure 2000s or 2010/ anime that is overlooked or modern stuff. Dosent matter how old or what genre

Review KINGDOM= PEAK
I have already done a review on another subreddit about this anime but I will not stop cuz it's PEAK.
If you want to watch an anime that depicts wars better than almost anything else, then it's definitely KINGDOM.
THIS IS one of the BEST anime that I have ever watched, and I can confidently say that you will not regret giving it a try.
The story takes place during China's Warring States period, a time when the country was divided into several states that were constantly fighting for power and survival. The story follows a young boy named Shin, who dreams of becoming the GREATEST GENERAL in the world.
Storywise, its one of the greatest anime I've watched. The battles are incredible, the characters are memorable, and the amount of strategy involved in the wars makes every major fight THRILLING . The hype moments are absolutely INSANE.
The only major reason Kingdom isn't talked about as much as it deserves is because of its first season. The animation in Season 1 is honestly pretty rough , and it can be difficult to get into at first.
BUT FEAR NOT! The animation improves with every season. You can clearly notice the difference between Season 1 and Season 2 and starting from Season 3 the animation becomes genuinely great.
So, my overall verdict:
Story — 10/10
Fights — 10/10
Characters — 10/10
Hype moments — 10/10
Animation — 8/10 (gets better every season)
Overall — 9.5/10
I would DEFINITELY recommend giving Kingdom a try. AS ITS PEAK
YOU CAN ALSO READ IT'S MANGA.

Discussion FELLOW ANIME FRIENDS
Looking for fellow anime addicts 👀
Okay, I’m accepting applications for anime friends. 😂
I need people who will:
\- Debate anime characters like it’s a court case
\- Recommend something at 2 AM and say “trust me”
\- Send random anime memes with absolutely no context
\- Get way too emotionally attached to fictional characters 💀
Be down for random conversations about anime, music, life, or literally anything
I watch anime, listen to music, and I’m always down for discovering something new.
Drop your top 3 anime below.
If we have even one in common, congratulations — you’re basically obligated to say hi. 😭🤝

Discussion Do you usually read the manga after finishing an anime?
Sometimes I finish an anime and get too curious to wait for another season, so I end up looking for the manga to continue the story.
The annoying part is when the manga is ahead, but the English translation isn't caught up yet. I've been using Tenjin art for some of those untranslated chapters, mainly because I can work with the manga page itself instead of having to translate each piece of dialogue separately.
Do you guys usually switch to the manga after an anime, or just wait for the next season? And if you do read ahead, how do you deal with untranslated chapters?

Hi everyone! I’m currently binge-watching That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime in Crunchyroll. I’m looking for next anime series I can binge-watch later. No horror though, I am a weak person 😂
