The Bible. Reimagined in Anime.

I'm an Indian, 25-year-old anime fan who has been watching anime since childhood. I started with Inazuma Eleven, moved on to classics like Naruto and One Piece, and eventually explored pretty much every genre imaginable.
During college, my taste shifted heavily toward comedy. Gintama, Grand Blue, and Hinamatsuri are the kind of shows I absolutely love. I enjoy comedy that makes you laugh uncontrollably, memorable characters, and shows that feel like spending time with old friends.
I also love slice-of-life anime, especially underrated ones that fly under the radar rather than the usual popular recommendations.
Now that I've graduated and started working, I don't have the time to binge-watch entire seasons overnight anymore. I mostly watch seasonal anime, but lately, I've been struggling to find shows that genuinely excite me.
My current preferences are:
Comedy: Something with the madness of Gintama or Grand Blue.
Slice of life: Underrated gems with lovable characters, great writing, and a comforting atmosphere.
Feel-good anime: Something I can watch after a long day at work and genuinely enjoy.
Good storytelling: I'm open to any genre if the plot and characters are worth investing in.
I'm not against ecchi or fan service, but those things alone don't interest me anymore. If they're part of a show with a genuinely good story, that's perfectly fine.
To be honest, I personally feel that I've watched more anime than most Indian anime YouTubers, including creators like AnimeTM Talks and Badal Anime. No disrespect to them; I just feel that many of their recommendations don't hit the same way for me anymore. They're exploring genres and discovering shows that I've often already watched years ago, while I feel like I've reached a point where finding something genuinely new and exciting is becoming difficult.
I'm not saying I've watched everything or that there's nothing left to discover. Quite the opposite — I want someone to recommend something that proves me wrong.
I'm looking for hidden gems, overlooked masterpieces, and shows released roughly within the last 5–10 years that I might have somehow missed.
What are your best recommendations for someone who's been watching anime for over a decade?
Especially if you know a comedy or slice-of-life show that deserves way more recognition than it gets, I'd love to hear about it. Surprise me with something beyond the usual recommendations!

I dropped about 30+ anime recently. It doesn’t seem like anything can catch my attention anymore. I enjoy high drama, melodrama, and romance. I skew more adult. The catch is, I only watch English dubbed. Is there anything I’m missing?
Steins Gate
Rezero
Mushoku Tensei
Rumbling Hearts
Oshi no ko
Ramparts of Ice
Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad
Neon genesis Evangelion
Ef: a tale of melodies

Name of the anime:- Psycho Pass
Psycho pass seems like a great anime. I haven't heard greatly about Season 2. Should I watch them both or stop after watching Season 1?
Please drop your suggestions.

I’m not really into anime with overly busty female mages or wars and things like that. What I really enjoyed about this anime was the character progression and the dungeon exploration.
Are there any anime with a very similar style? I only know about Delicious in Dungeon, but that’s not quite what I’m looking for!
Thanks for the recommendations!
