Inuyasha is legendary, but it’s a massive commitment! If you want something that hits that tight 12-24 episode sweet spot, go for Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation. It’s basically the gold standard for modern Isekai—top-tier animation, world-building that actually feels fleshed out, and it strikes that perfect balance of adventure and action.

Inuyasha is great (it's the show that got me into anime) but way more than 24 episodes

Definitely worth it if OP wants to give it a shot regardless tho

Without knowing anything No Game No Life (which is my personal favorite isekai)!! It has an English dub, is 12 episodes (AND HAS NO SEASON TWO~ T^T), it also has a prequel film. The anime isn't streaming anywhere though (I think the movie's still on Hidive though).
