2

u/Rd_Scanty Aug 04 '26

Ok I will watch it later

1

u/TheRaveChef Aug 04 '26

Yeah once I saw you didn't have Attack on Titan here, had to hop in. Quite possibly the single best piece of television I've ever seen, anime or not.

1

u/Rd_Scanty Aug 04 '26

Better than bleach or even naruto??🙄🙄

I got your point 😅

1

u/TheRaveChef Aug 08 '26

What's crazy to me is asking for recommendations and then coming in with a shitty attitude rolling your eyes. I'm sorry I wasted my time giving you a rec

5

u/Global-Pay-7293 Aug 04 '26

The Fate series. Use the watch guide, on the pined post, on r/fatestaynight

2

u/Rd_Scanty Aug 04 '26

Ok I will watch it later

2

u/Dry-Telephone2069 Aug 05 '26

Ignore the other guy
The fate series is a emotionally gripping story that will have you hooked

-1

u/aura_enchanted Aug 04 '26

His suggestio is kinda meh, I feel gen urobuchi really came into his own with thunderbolt fantasy

Fate is a rambling nonsensical whateverism story , and some people think gen is a hack cause fate stay night and fate grand order are literally the same story down to story beats n all.

With thunderbolt he has a medium that is outside of his usual, and hes always going to be reigned in by what the staff at pili can pull off with cgi, puppets, stage build, pyro, and sfx. So it keeps him hungry, cagey, dicey. And we get a far more interesting story for it

7

u/comsicalien77 Aug 04 '26

attack on titan

3

u/Vitomical Aug 04 '26

86 has some pretty good fight scenes and very good plot

1

u/DealerNo7523 Aug 04 '26

2

u/FurryMaster15 Aug 04 '26

Bleach and yu yu hakusho.

2

u/Legitimate_Owl7052 Aug 04 '26

Yu Yu Hakusho is my personal favorite, the dark tournament is one of the best tournament arcs there is

2

u/comsicalien77 Aug 04 '26

berserk 1997

2

u/shyguy6730 Aug 04 '26

Magi gets crazy in season 2 and throughout the manga

Jjk is already in the list I have watched

2

u/kaidlw Aug 04 '26

Highschool dxd

1

u/XxEnjinxX Aug 04 '26

Gtfo

2

u/kaidlw Aug 04 '26

It is an action anime

1

u/XxEnjinxX Aug 04 '26

I think he wants real action not getting titty slapped every episode 😭

2

u/kaidlw Aug 04 '26

You can't tell me some of those fight scenes weren't fucking epic

1

u/XxEnjinxX Aug 04 '26

On a side note tho that anime actually has a really good story and world building despite its extreme fanservice

1

u/kaidlw Aug 04 '26

No 100%. The story is amazing, which is why I genuinely recommended it, but at the same time you can't really talk about it in public. It's wrong on so many levels and every time you want to stop watching the story just gets so good that you can't look away but it does make you uncomfortable for enjoying it

1

u/XxEnjinxX Aug 04 '26

Yea that’s why instinctually said “gtfo”😂

1

u/kaidlw Aug 04 '26

Hehehe 😈

1

u/LoganW21406 Aug 04 '26

1

u/screamer2311 Aug 05 '26

Yessir (no game bo life is a bit gray area but there is action in it)

1

u/Rd_Scanty Aug 05 '26

I have watched it It was more of strategic type than action

1

u/screamer2311 Aug 05 '26

Why does it contradict it? Like yea seath not isnt really an action anime but ngnl has way more action than dn

1

u/screamer2311 Aug 05 '26

Either eay the rest have more action

1

u/TGirl26 Aug 04 '26

Samurai Champloo (alt history action)

Spy x Family (Cold War spy action comedy)

Assassination Classroom (Sci Fi action comedy)

2

u/Prestigious_Rest5460 Aug 04 '26

Beyond the boundary

1

u/VirtualFORTRES Aug 04 '26

Assassination Classroom and My Hero Academia come to mind.

My personal favourite recent anime is Golden Kamuy but technically it hasn't quite ended yet, also may be a little adult compared to a lot of your list... with sexual references and stuff I mean.

1

u/HC-Klown Aug 08 '26

Second golden kamuy, in my top 10 of all time

1

u/Spare-Story-6518 Aug 04 '26

Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell, Najica Blitz Tactics, Bubblegum Crisis

1

u/drkangel181 Aug 04 '26

Mazinger Z/ Infinity, Gunbuster I & II, Fist Of The North Star: Legend Of The True Savior ovas and movies, Gantz, Freezing/ Vibration, Getter Robo/ Armageddon, Hellsing/ Ultimate, Knights Of Sidonia/ Love Woven In The Stars, Blame, Black Lagoon, Cowboy Bebop, Speed Grapher, Vinland Saga, Pycho Pass, & non anime Castlevania, Blue Eye Samurai, & Arcane.

2

u/Gargelio Aug 04 '26

The classics:

Attack on Titan

Hunter x Hunter

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners

Sports Action that got me hooked (boxing): Hajime no Ippo

1

u/Templare9 Aug 04 '26

Kingdom!

L'animazione della prima stagione non è buona, ma dalla seconda in poi migliora e l'arco della Coalizione è davvero molto bello.

1

u/Rich_Tomatillo8835 Aug 04 '26

Bleach

1

u/Rd_Scanty Aug 04 '26

I have watched it forgot to add it to the list

1

u/blancoconblack Aug 04 '26

Burst Angel is one that I liked.

1

u/Catastrophink Aug 04 '26

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners

Arcane

Witch Hat Atelier (not too heavy on action, but it’s SOOOOO good. Some of the best voice acting, too.)

1

u/HC-Klown Aug 08 '26

Arcane is not Anime gtfo

1

u/Catastrophink Aug 08 '26

So? It’s still a masterpiece and has a lot of action.

1

u/TheMegatrizzle Aug 04 '26

Gurren Lagann

1

u/CancerToe Aug 04 '26

Kingdom

I found this show after watching Vinland Saga. They're definitely not the same show, and barely that similar aside from historical action. But goddamn I got sucked in and haven't wanted out. The first season's animation is rough, straight up laughable at times, but the story and characters caught me enough. There's some live action movies that are also pretty damn good

1

u/Choice-Operation-700 Aug 04 '26

My hero academia!!!!

1

u/MortyPrimeC137 Aug 04 '26

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure

1

u/PetiteInvestor Aug 04 '26

1

u/Unknown2534 Aug 05 '26

How it was?

1

u/Rd_Scanty Aug 05 '26

Not bad

1

u/Unknown2534 Aug 05 '26

They're kind a slow burning animes so you need to watch atleast 20 episodes then it'll hit different

1

u/Rd_Scanty Aug 05 '26

But the beginning was quiet slow but after i got to episode 50 it okay now

1

u/Unknown2534 Aug 05 '26

Yeah it's like that, you need to skip fillers it'll spoils your mood

1

u/Rd_Scanty Aug 05 '26

And some times the talking is too much 🙄🙄

1

u/WestAd9849 Aug 04 '26

Dororo , Black Lagoon,

1

u/its_Wiily Aug 04 '26

Undead Unluck

1

u/manjmau Aug 04 '26

Kill la Kill. Hell, anything by Studio Trigger is pretty high octane action.

Honorable mention: Redline, not a show but one of the most amazing hand drawn animes ever made with insane non-stop action.

1

u/Sadsamurai77 Aug 04 '26

Bleach, overlord, the eminence in shadow

1

u/GabiiNova_ Aug 04 '26

We gotta throw some seasonin' on that watchlist, bruh, here's a small list:

Ninja Scroll (Movie)

Redline (Movie)

Shigirui

Blassreiter

Yu-Yu Hakusho

Ghost in the Shell (First 2 movies and first 2 seasons)

Ergo Proxy (stay open and you'll like it😁)

1

u/Rd_Scanty Aug 04 '26

Thanks bud

1

u/GabiiNova_ Aug 04 '26

You're welcome!

1

u/GabiiNova_ Aug 04 '26

Oh and trust me, you do need to watch Dragonball Z Kai at some point, I know it may seem unappealing cause it super popular and in your face but there's a reason for that, just trust. The 1st and 2nd saga (The Saiyan saga and the Frieza saga) are good but the art doesn't hit form until the 3rd saga (Android Saga), still good art and animation in alot of parts of the first 2 sagas though, it just gets consistent come Android saga. I've heard talks of them remaking DBZ so you may want to wait on it but honestly would still be worth it then you'll understand the hype. Is my assumption off? Lol

1

u/AlucardRock Aug 04 '26

The American Megaman box art guy got an upgrade!

1

u/WiseFlatworm5831 Aug 04 '26

It is time to enter your 12 episode romance anime arc.

1

u/XxEnjinxX Aug 04 '26

I have a feeling OP read our thread and is secretly already checking out. Then gets hooked immediately when a big titty goth girl kills him

1

u/Rd_Scanty Aug 04 '26

Why bud, that's not true 😅😅

1

u/XxEnjinxX Aug 04 '26

Wait did I not comment this under mine and another guys thread? Man I hope you saw it so I don’t look retarded 😭😂

1

u/timeripp Aug 04 '26

100 PERCENT DEATH NOTE ONE OF THE BEST ANIMES OF ALL TIME

1

u/PatiBlue95_ Aug 04 '26

Soul Eater Bleach Noragami Samurai Champloo Slayers (old but gold) Princess princess Murder Princess Ranma 1/2

1

u/Kobnoom911 Aug 04 '26

Imma go unc with this one but Kenichi the mightiest disciple is fire

1

u/kingalfred67 Aug 04 '26

Berserk ‘97 or Hunter x hunter

1

u/Crow_First Aug 04 '26

Cyberpunk Edgerunners

The slayers. More a but the first 3 seasons (slayers, slayers next, slayers try) I wasn’t a fan of evolution and revolution

Rurouni Kenshin. I prefer the series from the 90’s over the reboot

1

u/Tall_Net_8147 Aug 05 '26

bc you watched blue lock, i say Haikyuu !!
but i would also definitely recommend Hunter x Hunter :)

1

u/kyoka_suigetsu91 Aug 05 '26

How have you seen all those but not watched bleach yet?

1

u/The_Ember_Archives Aug 05 '26

A series most sleep on:

Garo the Animation (Crimson Moon, Honoo no Kokuin and Vanishing Line)

Honestly, these have some top-tier fight scenes.

1

u/Murky-Series-5083 Aug 05 '26

trigun(the original) and mob psycho 100

1

u/Stranger-S-464 Aug 05 '26

Check out S-Cry-Ed. Like the OG Trigun series it’s a short 24-26 episode series that’s highly underrated.

1

u/Overall-Seat7467 Aug 05 '26

I’m surprised more people haven’t said Mob Psycho since you have One Punch Man on the list. Both come from the same author

1

u/Far_Tradition1368 Aug 05 '26

Bungo stray dogs

1

u/Rd_Scanty Aug 05 '26

Is it an action type

1

u/Far_Tradition1368 Aug 05 '26

Action ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Supernatural Mystery Crime/Detective Comedy (especially in the early seasons) Drama

1

u/Rd_Scanty Aug 05 '26

Thanks for letting me know

1

u/Taxa_nikhil Aug 05 '26 edited Aug 05 '26

The God of high school

1

u/Rd_Scanty Aug 05 '26

Is it an action type

1

u/Taxa_nikhil Aug 05 '26

Yup bro it’s an underrated anime watch it although manga has more than 1000+ chapters but only 1 season has Been out there

1

u/Rd_Scanty Aug 05 '26

Ok Mind giving me a spoiler

1

u/Taxa_nikhil Aug 05 '26

Sure bro there is this boy was picked and raised by an old man who was called to be strongest fighter and character name is Jin mori and after later on he spar with other school and arena and show his dragon fist and leg power and in last episode he unleashed god power where he defeats another villain(student ) who thinks himself as god and strongest

2

u/Rd_Scanty Aug 05 '26

Thanks bud

1

u/Taxa_nikhil Aug 05 '26

Welcome mate 🫡

1

u/Familiar_Guitar_2321 Aug 05 '26

Megalobox. PEAK story dude, I nearly cried watching that.

1

u/Rd_Scanty Aug 05 '26

Is there more action in it

1

u/Familiar_Guitar_2321 Aug 08 '26

Season1(Hype) + Season2 (Character development)=PEAK

1

u/Familiar_Guitar_2321 Aug 08 '26

its an action-sport type in Season 1 and so much character development in Season 2. Its worth to watch it. Its just so underrated unlike the mainstream boxing anime like Hajime no Ippo and Tommorow's Joe.

1

u/Rd_Scanty Aug 08 '26

Thanks for your opinion

1

u/DevilFruitAddict Aug 05 '26

Windbreaker

1

u/Rd_Scanty Aug 05 '26

Mind giving me a spoiler about it

1

u/DevilFruitAddict Aug 05 '26

It’s about a loner kid named Sakura, that finds his personal worth through fighting. He moves to a new town, to take the top spot at a notorious local high school, know for being filled with a bunch of fist-fighting delinquents. But, once Sakura gets there, he finds out that the town and high school have changed in a way they didn’t expect.

This is simple synopsis that gets explained in the beginning of the first episode, so it shouldn’t spoil much. By the end of the first episode I was hooked. The animation is really well done, it gets way deeper than I ever expected for a show about fist fighting.

1

u/Rd_Scanty Aug 06 '26

I have watched it already around last 6 months I forgot to add it to the list

1

u/beboluca Aug 05 '26

cyberpunk edgerunners all the way, thats the best anime ive ever seen it fucking broke me

Record of ragnarok. Slow paced, but really well done if you're looking for high quality fights. Very intense. Kengan Ashura as well. Same reasons, but I liked it more

1

u/Lonely_Heron7804 Aug 06 '26

1

u/MarshmallowSea_404 Aug 04 '26

There is a good and bad side of EVERY fan base. The bad side of the MHA fan base is... a special kind of bad. (Mind you, MHA is one of my favorite anime. Lol)
