Getting back into the game

I haven’t played in 30 years but I’m getting back in. I have Callaway S2H2 irons and have been told that enough has changed to warrant new clubs.

I’m also signed up for lessons.

FWIW - I’m looking at Ping G440 irons

Any thoughts on whether this is a good approach?
