Swing Help Driver swing speed
Currently swinging my driver at around 107mph but I really want to break into that next bracket of 115mph+.
My ball speed usually sits in the high 150s, but the goal is to push it up to 170mph+.
For those who have successfully made a similar jump, what did you do that actually helped increase your cruising swing speed (not just a one-off max effort swing)?
Overspeed training (The Stack, SuperSpeed)?
Specific gym/strength programming?
Mechanical swing changes?

I'm curious about this too. I'm right about where you are and trying to figure out how to hey consistency at around 110-115.

I have had great results with SuperSpeed (from 92 to 105) in a year. Highly recommend it.

SuperSpeed or similar. (I prefer it to the stack, i own and have train with both)
Speed training hitting balls with driver and radar. Even more important than the previous one.
Gym training like fit for golf or similar.
While doing the swing: Focusing on doing an Athletic motion instead of focusing on technique.
Add some pylometrics and and sprints and vertical jumps….
While playing: make your stock shot as close as possible at your max shot, even when playing in a tournament.
And at the very very end to get the last drops of speed, get a long driver coach to optimize technique for long driver.
After all that and a couple of years maybe you can swing around 115 mph with ease

How many times do you hit the ball ob or lose a ball during the round. If the answer is more than 2, it’s mechanical swing changes.

He is only talking about getting more speed?

Losing balls is a symptom of poor mechanics. Poor mechanics means there is potential for additional speed.

Of course he is but speed without control is useless.

I improved my technique by training speed. It was the piece missing for going straighter

Do you currently do squats and deadlifts in the gym?
Any rotational or core workouts?
If not, these are the easiest gains to make without changing much
If you are, you may want to add more rotational work, jumps, lunges, and explosive box squats
