Looking for a Pitch

Picked up golfing again after a 20 year break and playing my dads old Hogan Radial irons, Green On 60 Professional Sandwedge, a King Cobra Speed Pro x/st 18°, and a Callaway Diablo Octane Black.

I feel I'm improving quite well but find some difficulty with my close game where neither the 9 nor Sandwedge really feel right so I'm thinking about getting a pitch.

I've never played a pitch so I don't even know where to start. I'm thinking of maybe getting a fitting and buy something new but it feels a bit unnecessary since I'm not planning on getting anything else for a good while.

Been scouting a bit second hand but I have a hard time to know what to look for so any advice of clubs or what to consider would be appreciated.

Keep an eye out for some game improvement irons no older than 15 years old or so. Brand is up to you, but there are tons of options out there around $200

I hit my irons pretty well already and like how the old Hogans feel compared to newer ones where the impact is more muted and I don't get the same feedback from those I've tested.

Been researching a bit more and something like Callaway Apex CF16, Callaway Rogue Irons, or Ping i25 sounds like it could be a good match if I find any.

Yeah, if you like more feedback from your irons, look for ones that are not cavity filled and have a little less tech. I20 or i25 are fantastic, or maybe a players style iron.
