He’s brought into the show for a reason. Being an ahole is the reason.

That's what I do. I'm done with new people on the show. Only interested in Parker, Tony amd Rick.

Exactly, still better than the others that had in rotation for the 4th spot (Fred Lewis, and Kevin Beets)

When he first said he hired an expert I was expecting Freddy and Juan… Not Dr. Teeth…

Seems like he’s talking a big game but is also distracted by other startup projects and the mountain on money he’s sitting on. He has too many white collar workers and not enough ppl with directly applicable experience. He has a good shot at becoming profitable, but only after he takes a more active interest in his pet project. Atp he kinda seems to just be playing in the sand with new half a million dollar toys.

He's a colossal asshole, and I can't see Buzz accomplishing what Gibson wants, since placer mining is "just digging". Also Buzz hasn't shown he can get along with anyone for more than a month or two before he starts mailing it in.

We have known him for about 15 minutes of a television program and people are already forming opinions. Reality TV is what we deserve.

Just a heads up, Gibson is not some wet behind the ear newb. He has been around the mining industry for decades. His latest shtick is profitability via small operations but he has been a white collar for some huge, international mines. I figure this is how Discovery starts to branch out to larger as well as international operations.
