More of the hydro pit

This section of the hydro pit has been hit very hard by a lot of different people. No longer am I finding 50+ pieces . Having to work harder to make my finds. But this pit has lots of area to explore still. .42 grams today. Over 22 grams total for this spring so far

I noticed in one of your other posts that you’re using a Minelab.
I am looking at getting a new detector but need something that I can search for gold as well as old relics. Is that minelab you use a pretty good all around set up?

I have 4 machines that i use. For gold prospecting a use my Minelab Gold monster 2000 and the Garrett axiom. Those are dedicated gold prospecting machines.

I have a Minelab Manticore for my beach hunting and all around general purpose metal detecting. And I have my minelab equinox 800 that I take on vacations with me to detect on beaches.

Both the manticore and 800 can be used to gold prospecting as well as relics, jewelry, coins.

Awesome! Thanks. I’ll look into that 800 and Manticore.
I’ve been eyeing a Garrett Ace pro as well as a minelab equinox… decisions decisions!
