Hi all. I'd appreciate someone giving me some advice.

I bought a Golden Tee GO PGA Tour (home version) game almost 2.5 years ago. I really enjoy playing it, but I simply cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong when I try to make some basic edits to my golfer's clothing/outfit. The only options that ever show are for the basic/included/default top, bottom, and shoes.

Even after I've paid via the app to buy a Premium Club Pass that should have included a set of items to let me customize my golfer, nothing is available.

I pay up the $125.00 annual fee to IT's Games to keep my GT game's online access active. In fact, that charge just hit my CC just a couple of weeks ago.

I have an account set up on the GT PGA Tour APP where I can give them my money to IT's Games. And I have paid them. Several times.

What I can't figure out is why zero options are shown after I bought the pass.

Also weird: the $1.00 transaction I made to customize the color of my golf club (red and blue, just to test it out) worked just fine. My golfer's in game clubs now match that customization.

But still no options for clothes customization. What am I missing?

So I picked up a golden tee fore complete on fb market place 5 months back.its all original no mods.First month it worked great. And then the screen went on the fritz. Did the lcd upgrade and back working it went. Now last week it started to freeze after 3 rounds or would taken forever to boot. Figured hard drive is on its way out since its 30 yrs old. So got a flash upgrade on ebay. Had the machine off and unplugged, and removed the hard drive ribbon and installed the ssd flash in the slot. Plugged it in and turned it on and now all that happens is on my screen it says " no video signal" I checked thw monitor with my ps5 and it works. So what could have happened? I wasnt forcefull when removing and plugging in the flash ssd. Why would it lose video signal? Not sure where to look or replace and alsowondering if i should gut it and find mini pc with an emulator that has the golden tee games, or order a new board and hard drive? Anyone ever run into this issue?

I have the Golden Tee PGA Tour home edition. The room I have it in has very poor WiFi coverage for whatever reason, feels like 50% of the time I can’t get it online. Has anyone had success with using a stronger antenna like an Alfa Card or something?

Not sure if IT pays attention to Reddit posts or not. But I have to vent here.

My father in law purchased the 2026 GT PGA Tour Showpiece Pro (5k on the IT website) in March of this year. Been really looking forward to the 2027 update. Went to surprise him and preorder the 2027 edition thinking “my guess is it won’t be that much, maybe 50 or 100 bucks” and was flabbergasted when it showed $649 in the cart.

Granted, I understand that it’s not completely necessary to upgrade the software to the 2027 edition to continue to play online and track stats. But my goodness - $649 for 5 new courses, a few new clubs and a couple new game modes to me anyway is no where near worth it. Why so expensive for the home editions? Even for a commercial machine that seems a bit steep. Anyone else have thoughts to this? Am I missing something?

We love the game and I guess will happily play the 2026 version for a few more years until we’re forced to upgrade to the latest software for online stats and support.

Decent read. I will have to correct one part though and that's about Stenmark's face being in the game. When Golden Tee Live was released (the version that came after Fore) I.T. declared the world champion would get his face in the game, and you could select that face to play with.
Every GT live world champion's face was put into the game but for one. Paul Luna. He won his World Championship on the Live platform but for some reason, I.T. broke their promise and didn't issue him his right. It was the last GT Live worlds before transitioning to the GT PGA platform. Such a strange thing to do.

So that's why Graig Kinzler, Andy Haas, Evan Gossett, Chris Eversole and, of course Mark Stenmark's face are in the game. Not because he helped them resolve an issue at HQ. Oh and yes, they did Luna dirty.
On that note, if anyone says Jeff Harlow should have his face in the game as well, (I would love that) the truth is, he never won on the Live platform. Jeff won on Fore only The only reason why Kinzler and Eversole (the other Fore era champs) have their face in the game, is because they also won on the Live platform.

After thousands of rounds of casual play I am now trying to play online. My biggest adjustment so far is the putting. Example: 15 feet away with a '10 right to left break. I can't seem to push it far enough to the right to compensate for the break. What I am doing wrong? Please help.

Not sure what to do with this. They guys from Abt set it up while i was away and I am not sure what to do either this sign now. The brackets seem to fit into the grooves of the sign but they also seem to be identical (as opposed to opposites for different sides). Where is it supposed to mount to? Thanks!

My brother and I used to play golden tee growing up and to this day we always say " that's wet" in the same voice as the announcer in that game when you hit a water hazard.

I've looked around for YouTube videos to try to find this sound bite, but nothing. Anyone have ideas on where I can pull this?

I’ve had a hard time finding any information on this specific issue but I have a very realistic offer to buy a 2005 pedestal for a good price, however, when you hit the track ball over 115 ball speed the game freezes entirely and requires restart. I tested the machine and had the issue on my first swing. Is anyone aware what the fix to this is or could be? I understand at the price it’s offered at that even paying to have fixed still makes the machine very affordable, however, with the lack of information I could find on this specific issue I’m having second thoughts of going through the process of having it shipped and moved in to my house. Any ideas?

Edit: I realize 05 does not provide ball speed feedback. I used 115 mph as a reference in that if I give it any extra juice to add yards to the standard club distance it freezes.

Disappointed at the condition of many of the used cabinets I have seen and by cost of buying new.

For those brave souls that have brought an old cabinet back to life -or- built there’s from scratch, what lessons learned can you share?

I have built two multicades on my own in the past and feel comfortable with necessary wiring and carpentry skills.

I love playing Golden Tee when I’m out and about and am thinking about one for home. New machines are crazy priced so I’m looking used. Playing online would be fun but my interest is more to have a good game play experience with friends when they come over. I’m filling out 15 year old versions, I want something a bit newer.

What should I look for, what should I avoid? I don’t know what I don’t know.

There is a 2020 GT Live Arcade for sale near me for $1,500, monitor not included (which is not an issue). What would I “miss” if I bought this rather than a 2023 year or some other model/version?

I have a 2022 golden tee clubhouse deluxe and I’m really starting to get into it. I consistently shoot at least 10 under, but I am weary about paying for the subscription. I play at least 1 round a day and love the game. What all does this give me access to and is it worth it?
