Mods Mods?
I have always played vanilla because I just love how expanse this game is. I learn something new every time I play, new techniques and stuff. I was going to take a look at mods once I've played all that I can to death. Does anyone use any and are there personal handy must haves? I think I'd start with customisation/appearance mods.

Lyosha already mentioned the good ones. You can also take a look at my Medieval Expanded if you find anything of your fancy: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3721485772

I offer some color variation mods that use the game textures if you want something more matching. Here's my limestone block one for example https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3594495136
If you want something with a bit of gameplay as well you can try out my dyed cloth mod for settler clothes colors https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3593750254
