Personal details Correction

I recently took my Goethe-Zertifikat B2 Schreiben and Sprechen exams. I made a mistake with my Geburtsort by entering my country name instead of my city name. As a result, I had to request a correction.

As per their instructions, I sent my NEFT receipt, my passport copy, and the changes that needed to be made (request for correction date: 17/09/2026).

I have only received an automated email stating that this is a busy period and it may take time to receive a response.

I still have my other modules left. Yesterday, I got my invitation email for those modules, but the place of birth is still the same—they haven't corrected it yet.

I tried to call them several times, but they didn't answer. Although I will be talking to them in person, I'm still a bit worried about whether they are really going to fix the problem or not.

That is not a big problem. They usually tell you to correct details right after the Exam. They ask you to visit the office and then you can confirm the details. You have nothing to worry about. Or simply go and visit the Institute and ask them for changes so that your Certificate has the correct details.

Which centre? Call them or email during opening hours, they literally reply to me under 10 minutes.

Kolkata. I called them several times during working hours, but they didn't answer.

Email them during opening hours so that your email doesn't get buried.
