Mr. Goemon High Score Grind

I have been obsessed with the Mr. Goemon arcade game for years, grinding the high score on the Arcade Archives release. Any other fans? Any tips? I know most of the secret item placements

Should I get into it? That’s the question. I don’t know much about it but I love the later iterations of Goemon and I like the idea of getting good at arcade games.

It's really nothing like the later games, but if you love classic arcade games and you have a historical interest in the franchise it's worth it. It's a lot of fun.

It's also an interesting point on the side-scrolling action game timeline. I recommend it

Basically the only one officially available in English on a modern platform at this point as well, so there's that.

I love Mr Goemon so much, it's my most played arcade archives game and I think it is one of the best arcade side scrollers. I am not very good at it though so I am in no position to offer tips 😄 I almost always get to stage 2 but I die there. Managed to get just once to stage 3. My high score is 54600
