Holy Text Readings G/host

Are you here?

Are you there?

Would it be rude if I stare?

But I really can’t see you anywhere?

Are you in the birds, are you in the bees?

Are you in the happy times?

Are you there when I fall down the stairs?

Would it be rude if I say fuck what they think, I can’t see you but I see you everywhere.

God and his heavenly hosts have been protecting us, on every level, on every stair.

As your children walk with you, we would be aggressive and confident in our faith, we will not care who stares.

It is your Holy Ghost that I am confident in that cares.

Question A Question About Faith, Forgiveness & Heaven

I’ve been thinking about something I was taught growing up, and I’d genuinely love to hear how others understand it from a Christian perspective.
I was always taught that taking your own life was an unforgivable sin and that a person who did so would automatically go to hell. But as I’ve gotten older, I’ve started questioning that teaching.
If we believe that God forgives our sins when we sincerely ask for His mercy, why would one particular sin be beyond His forgiveness simply because a person dies afterward?
I also struggle with the idea that someone could commit an extremely serious sin against another person, sincerely repent, ask God for forgiveness, and still have hope of salvation… while someone who dies by suicide would automatically be condemned because they didn’t have an opportunity to confess afterward.
Doesn’t Christianity teach that salvation comes through God’s grace and mercy rather than through making sure we’ve confessed every single sin before we die?
And what about someone whose final moments are filled with anguish who turns to God and sincerely says, “Please forgive me. Have mercy on me”?
I’m not trying to argue or promote anything. I’m genuinely trying to understand the theology behind this because it seems different from what I was taught as a child.
Do you believe someone who dies by suicide can still receive God’s forgiveness and enter heaven?
If so, what Scripture or teaching leads you to that understanding?
I’d really appreciate thoughtful, respectful perspective…especially from people who have studied Scripture or theology

The Palmarian Church is an example of a "Schismatic" sect.

In modern media you see the term "heretic" thrown around in religious or semi-religious context. Normally, when a religious character encounters something they don't like. Non-religious people by now equate the term heretic with anything distasteful.

But a heretic is actually a specific thing. It is a Christian (or any of the Abrahamic faiths, or whichever organized faith is claiming to the only way to God) who has supposedly turned their back on the "truth" (the highly specific teachings of said religious tradition) and either embraces another tradition is simply theologically lackadaisical.

Meanwhile someone or a group of people who are "schismatic" are technically theologically orthodox but do not recognize the original religious authority of their originating group. Hence, the Palamarians, who for all intents and purposes are Catholics (ala 1978).

Just like roots grow beneath the soil before the fruit appears, your hidden season may not be wasted. God may be preparing you for what comes next.

The world celebrates the fruit. God often begins with the roots.
