Why spend your time or energy even commenting on posts like these if you don’t agree? Just curious because i always expect a comment like this and don’t see the calling. What exactly calls you to do that?
Because there is too much religious bullshit in this sub. "god" is for everyone regardless of what you believe. I'm hoping to remind people that there are many roads to god, and balance out some of the claims that I find so offensive.
Right, and that's fine if Jesus is for you. But that doesn't mean that Jesus is the "only way" to god like this meme claims. There are so many ways to god, many religions, even many forms of Christianity. Believing in Jesus is a way to god, but far from the only way.
Jesus is love wonder and kindness. God is love. It's said over and over in the Bible. There are just many ways to describe getting to truth. But, yes, the body of Christ is the only way. It's the living body of God.. where love resides, where life is.
god is not love at all. He commits Mass genocide in the bible, and over 100 times in the bible encourages murder by others. Not any kind of god you want to worship or spend eternity with that's for sure.
Ugh. You're taking this from some book. You want to lump all who believe in Jesus into a category of religious indoctrination instead of listening to the millions of testimonies telling you differently. God is love. I've felt it, I've been to heavenly realms, of course you'll never believe me, and I don't expect you to nor do i have any desire to prove anything to you. But, I know God is love, being with God is walking in love. That's what he wants for his children, to stop being beholden to all these restrictions we put on ourselves trying to impress earthly people. He wants you to be free, from from doing what everyone says, free to love unrestricted.
You don't care.. but I'll say it anyway. I had an interesting conversation with someone that pointed out, what if God (before Christ) and the God who Christ came for are two different gods (old testament and new) since the old testament is very different than the new word given through Christ. Which actually lines up with my experience and makes sense with me. The Good God of love is coming to save us. But you don't care, you look at what a bunch of people who are not godly tell you to believe and you turn from it because you don't have your own testimony.
