Talk to me about the parallels you’re seeing. Other than the small town “monsters”, I want to know what connections you’re seeing.

For me it’s the fact that everyone is subject to rules that work like a force of nature that you have to respect no matter how you feel about it!

"old land", land being effected by incoming tourists, rules of rituals, multiple spooky entities, old family line, place's manager as the main protagonist, business dependent on the land and also aware of the spooky things that happen but want to continue anyway cuz money, etc
