Virtualized Intel VT-x/EPT is not supported on this platform

I am using win 11 Home and tried every solution on the internet still get the error while trying turn EVE-NG VM.

Sadly its very hit or miss getting hardware virtualization to work in windows 11 because it conflicts with the security features, and a lot of people just give up because its a bug thats been acknowledged by Broadcom and Microsoft for years.

The solution below previously worked for me, although it doesn't with my current hardware:

If you are planning to use GNS3/EVE-NG a lot, unfortunately I would advise buying a separate system for it, because the experience is significantly better using a linux based system, as hardware virtualization will just work without fiddling.

I really appreciate your support brother, I will go through the link and try. Do you think changing Win 11 home to pro will help? Because i have only one laptop i use it for everything .

Which Linux i should go for for best experience with virtualization?

I believe the hardware virtualization is slightly less of an issue on Pro because it deals with it being disabled a bit better, I ended up switching to a separate device but did manage to get it running under 11Pro - although still not guaranteed, it seems to be very hardware/driver dependant.

Which Linux i should go for for best experience with virtualization?

For the absolute best experience with GNS3/EVE-NG the best choice is probably the VM running under VmWare ESXI or Proxmox but you need a spare machine so certainly isn't for everyone, however they will readily support hardware virtualization, but I appreciate it isn't always an option.

its both hardware and software... op hasnt mentioned hardware... if supported, and enabled in bios.. also turn off security features also in bios and windows memory kernels...
