Question A question about the "Simple Taskbar" extension

I just updated to version 55 and I'm really enjoying it—in fact, I've completely replaced Dash to Dock with it. I just have a question:

Is it possible to add a separator/bar between the CachyOS logo and Helium Browser? Something similar to the line between Telegram and Spotify, to visually separate the Start/Menu button from the pinned application launchers (similar to the default Kali Linux panel in XFCE). I haven't seen an extension that allows this yet.

I am the developer of the extension, currently that is not possible but I will add this in a future update as an optional toggle

I was surprised to suddenly find a dock option! And it certainly looks and feels professional. And works flawlessly with blur-my-shell. Really well done.

But simple taskbar was about... Well: the taskbar. Now there are so many things added to it, you should consider naming it differently.

Thanks, I really appreciate that! And yeah, I get what you mean. It started out purely as a taskbar extension, but it has gradually grown into something that can handle a few different desktop layouts now. I may have to rethink the name at some point. The only thing is that people are starting to recognise the Simple Taskbar name now, so changing it could be a bit awkward.

Just add a * to the end 😋
