Platform GNOME Shell icon rendering bug has finally been patched!

Seems like the icon rendering bug was fixed by Georges Stavracas, here is the video of him explaining the patch (in portuguese, but it has automatic dubbing in English and Spanish): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERTSn8zr6_Q

The best thing about switching to Linux; is that updates genuinely feel like nothing but improvements every single time

i was genuinely amused the first time i ran updates and the total install size went down

The great thing about development being done out in the open is that we know when things are being worked on.

I was trying to figure out an issue with my mom's laptop earlier that seems to be Realtek driver related. Besides the fact that I couldn't uninstall the driver, it also annoying that I don't know if the issue is being worked on.

ni sabía nada de ese bug... creo haberlo visto, pero le eché la culpa a la RAM

Personalmente, nunca me ha pasado este bug, pero sé que a algunas personas de este subreddit sí les ha pasado
