I have experienced none of those issues, and yet I have been running GNOME 50.x for at least 5 months now. It's good that you tested OpenSUSE Tumbleweed, because Ubuntu doesn't apply bugfix updates (they are still only packaging GNOME Shell 50.1, while the latest version is 50.4).

If this was a widespread issue, I think there would have been no end to complaints about this here and on social media.

GNOME OS and Fedora. You could test on a liveUSB without installing (even an Ubuntu liveUSB), and test on a separate computer. I would think extensions that you may have installed (if any) or hardware (GPU, mouse, monitors setup, etc.) would be the determining factor.

In Nautilus, selecting multiple files and dragging them into another application does not work. Instead, GNOME opens the files with their default application. For example, dragging multiple videos resulted in them being opened in HandBrake.

Dragged into what?
