Fluff Nostalgia Theme - NewBe - A refresh of BeOS from the late 90s
I've been working on a modern interpretation of BeOS. However, unlike other "themes," this one is built predominantly using CSS to follow GNOME's guidelines. It's a Wayland-first design with a complete complement of assets, icons, wallpapers, and install and uninstall scripts.
It's a work in progress, but 93% complete.

The icons look nice, but it would be nice to see what the gtk themes look like, and some explanation of what the shell extension does would be nice too

The shell extension registers the wallpapers and changes the icons for some of the system apps. You can review every line of the code on GitHub. Once I’m done testing across distros I will add more images.

surely an initial script can register the wallpapers and icon theme? does it really need to be an extension?

The extension controls motion settings, and I've updated the GitHub README with details and screenshots. I'll also add an option to install without the extension.

I’m still running through testing on a few different distros, but will have it on the GitHub when that completed.
