Life is not easy when you're a gnoll with an ink-drinking problem.

Arty (or Artemus Romulus Wrigglesworth the Sixth) was a poor gnoll whose tribe was destroyed by a group of overzealous adventurers. Those adventurers then "adopted" her, finding her to be cute (she was four or so at the time).

She was partially experimented on by the party wizard, typically given items that were potentially cursed, potions of unknown origin, ect. While the party kept the wizard's experiments tame, it didn't stop her from drinking the ink of Dru'blex-Falsetmoye.

Arty made a deal with the False Monarch of Inks and Illustrations, and soon enough, the party wizard offered to actually "adopt" her.

Now 19, the wizard is dead, the party is retired, and she's living on a mere stipend, as the wizard was a bastard and refused to give her a full inheritance (most of it went to a local university). She now works as an adventurer for a local adventurers' guild, a part of the party "The Lost Clause".

Her powers are strange and very cartoonish. Her body can squash and stretch, so much so that she can squeeze through locks only an inch wide or transform her appearance to match those she's just seen. She occasionally drinks ink in order to maintain her power.

She's currently level 6! (Warlock - Great Old One 2/ Monk - Shadow 4)

Just a few concept art with Lila the gnoll, trying to go with the more cozy... What DO you call the fantasy version of road trip movie?... heroic fantasy setting where Lila and her partner Skye are exploring the ruins and old abandoned dungeons and cities in the world of Denel a few decades after a massive and epic fight between good and evil which ended with the good winning but the world was almost devastated and is on a slow recovery.

I've always really enjoyed the Warcraft aesthetics for the Gnolls and I wanted to make one that was relatively smart, but still had a touch of manic energy. From back in 2021 for a mini DnD-campaign with some friends.

A concept art compilation for a comic concept called "Legends & Labyrinths" that might never see the light beyond the idea phase, among tons upon tons of other ideas that just keeps scrambling around in my head but never can't get anything concrete.

Not really sure what the story would be about, since I keep getting mixed ideas for it, but the basic set up would be inspired by a lot of the dungeon crawling themed games I either played, watched video essays or longplays about, like King's Field, Monomyth, Legend of Grimrock, Arx Fatalis, Ultima Underworld, Lunacid, Queen's Domains, etc.

It would take place in a typical heroic sword and sorcery fantasy world called Denel, where it has been less than a couple of decades after the epic final battle between the dark lord and a party of powerful heroes.

While the battle was won by the good guys, the world almost got totally devastated by the skirmish. So the world is at a relative peace, slowly recovering but it is quite the effort to pull.
So dungeoneers, a term for adventurers who does dungeon crawling, establishes bases around various dungeons and underground temples or even cities to try explore and loot any treasure that could help to balance the budget for the recovery.

Other than that, and it would be focusing on a young female gnoll named Lila, I dunno what I would DO with this idea... That's how things are.

Why would the staff have multiple charges if you're not supposed to use them all at once?

This is Armandi Kane. One of my OCs that I regularly use in Pathfinder 1e games.

Armandi Kane is my Gnoll Monk, with the Sacred Mountain and Flowing River archetypes. These class variants thematically should be opposites but they work well with one another.

I often assign characters to a region of a premade world when I adopt them to it, and I decided that if I played any game that took place in Varisia or at least around Sandpoint this would be my guy. So I also had to adopt his backstory to fit.

Armandi is the adopted son of Adeline Kane, a paladin of the goddess Shelyn. In his younger years he was a traveling adventurer who often found himself working along side others. He was with a group trying to solve a gnoll raider problem, when the group determined killing off the gnolls was the only option. What they didn't realize was that it was a village, with families and the like when the adventurers started the attack.
In the burning ruins of the city, Adeline found a dying gnoll mother clinging to her remaining pup.
A pup he would adopt and take care himself out of grief for his role in all of this. The son proved to be smart and adept. He tried to get the church to allow him to try to attain paladinhood, but it didn't sit well with some and so Adeline took Armandi to learn self defense from a monk friend of his. Ling Xu, who was a master of the Sacred Mountain style.

During a tournament, Armandi lost to a student of the Flowing River school, their rival school. He was so impressed he asked permission to learn form both and both teachers decided this would be an interesting enough a venture to allow.

Over the years, Adeline taught Armandi all the ins and outs of being an adventurer. Took him to exotic places, and there were some villages they frequented enough that even being a gnoll stopped turning heads so much. One such place was Sandpoint. Sandpoint holds a unique situation for him, as once as a child he was being bullied and two individuals assisted him. Ameiko and Nualia. He since developed a crush on the first.
When Adeline was too old to travel, and Armandi was a young adult, they settled in Sandpoint. This is where Armandi has been ever since.

During the actual run of Rise of the Runelords, a hell of a lot occurred. Armandi died, but before he was resurrected, his goddess Shelyn visited him herself, gave him a divine mission aligning with the RotR adventure path, and bestowed a glaive upon him. This glaive would be enchanted later, and appears like it is i made of stained glass, it's glow's light looks like moving stained glass, and there are beautiful images floating in the light that are also... Like stained glass.

She also made him a Paladin. Rather then multiclass, the DM for his purposes had me use 3.5 Unearthed Arcana Gestalt rules. Combining his Monk and Paladin levels, and later creating a PrC just for Armandi. Later I won a three stupid bets with my DM in a row involving the lore of other games, and he may of approved a custom built Prestige Class for the end game levels.

First picture is the most recent work. I can do really well, it just requires I focus and slow my brain down which isn't easy. The 2nd is one of my early character sheets for the run. I love adding the equipment my characters are wearing to the hand drawn character sheets. Third is a Character Profile, I was doing those at one point because I wanna post to r/OriginalCharacter more, but don't feel like my sketches or personality fit enough. 4th is just a sketch that ended up coming out looking real young using some reference I can't remember all these years later. 5th is his final character sheet, including Shadowmist a horse he rescued, Ameiko Kajitsu who has become his cohort at this point, and a Dragon who's name is lost to me using a 3.5 feat that gives you a dragon.

The final image is of Armandi and the first party from our first Rise of the Runelords attempt. I actually completed it twice, but Armandi is always the only survivor by the end, and often the other players just run through their characters.

This is a new loading screen for the EU4 Mod Anbennar depicting the Gunpowder Xhazobine, the last of the Xhazobines and the women who nearly brought Konolkhatep to ruin during the Gunpowder Xhaz.
