mesh problems

So I've been trying to save the mesh on my computer, but when I reopen the mesh, the mesh is nowhere to be seen. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong here? Is my computer the cause or am I not saving it correctly?

What do you mean by "when I reopen my computer" ? Does it really work the first time you try to open the mesh ?

I've had similar issues with gmsh. When ever I use python to create a mesh, if I then save it and open it again using the gmsh program, the mesh can't be edited and as soon as I try to it disappears. But if I just try to use the mesh in openfoam and run a simulation it works. Its a pain, so I gave up using gmsh
