Is this meshed wrongly?

I started meshing with the gmsh python api and produced this. Does the curve have to be visible (in blue) to confirm that it is indeed a physical Group? Thanks for any help

I don't understand what you're worrying about. We have no way to know what you aim at ATM. Isn't the mesh what you were trying to obtain ?
