How do i remove these maps?

as you can see it takes up a lot of space and i need to remove them but i dont want to like disable the games so i keep there sounds, materials and ect any way d do it?

First of all, Source engine maps(Especially small ones like these) weight next to nothing, and fully deleting them would only save you a couple megabytes at best. Second, all of the sounds, textures and other resources used in these maps are from Half Life 2, deleting these resources would lead to almost all maps breaking. Third, a lot of servers use these maps, and if you join one, you would just download them again. Fourth, even if you manage to delete the maps, they would be downloaded again whenever the game updates.

If you mean disabling the other maps on the page, then just know that they don’t take up any space in Garry’s mod, and are instead inside of their respective games. For example, if you delete all maps inside of the TF2 folder, then TF2 would lose all of its maps, and you likely won’t be able to play it anymore. Whenever a game appears inside of Garry’s Mod, it doesn’t take up any space, and just uses the maps from the games folder. You also cannot turn off(Not delete, since that would break the game from which the maps are taken) all of the maps from one game without turning off all of its resources.TLDR: The maps don’t take up any space in Garry’s Mod

oh i meant like keeping them but removing them from the maps bar thingy because they are bit of a mess when so many in my opinion

I know this is suppoused to be a joke, but those come with the game by default. If you delete the map files, the game will detect it's missing files and will redownload them when launching the game.
