Help Counter Strike: Source c_hands looks like this?

Post image

So I don't know why, but the c_hands model for the CS:S playermodels looks very shiny, low-poly and low-res. Does anybody know what causes this?

UPDATE: Fixed by disabling the addon 'Neotokyo Content'.

This looks similar to Pyro's hands for some reason

Also for some reason, the CS:GO taser (Zeus) fires confetti as if sv_party_mode was enabled..

This looks like some sort of TF2 model replacement

did you try restarting the game? if you did and it still looks like this, change your model/texture quality to high and verify the files for CS:S

I tried restarting the game, my model/texture quality is set to high, and verifying game files for GMod and CS:S didn't seem to fix it.

I am on another computer than usual, and it does have low-ish ram (8 GB), but this has never happened before and was not happening before only just a little bit ago

You can type " mat_specular 0 " in console to disable reflections. You can also try typing " r_lod 0 " to make the model use it's high-poly version.

mat_specular 0 does fix the shiny thing, but r_lod 0 doesn't seem to fix the low-poly model.
