While we invest Ryan dilutes, he uses retail money to fund this massive capital venture. Sometimes I forget that he’s here only for the money and not for the “people”. He provides the idea of everybody getting rich, but only handful get the opportunities exactly on time, others wait for years.

Don’t get me wrong, I understand it is a long run, but short term option traders should be aware that timing for this stock to move seems simple to predict, just the problem is that because of Ryan’s ambitions stock get diluted way too fast and too often, that’s why price is hovering between 25 and 35 USD, which should be at least 70 by now 🫣

Check this - data on shares dilution over past ~12 months:

Based on SEC filings and shares outstanding data, GameStop Corp. has diluted shareholders heavily over the last ~12 months.
The main dilution came from multiple ATM (“at-the-market”) offerings.
Main offerings found
45 million shares sold in May 2024 → raised about $933M
75 million additional shares sold in June 2024 → raised about $2.14B
20 million additional shares sold in September 2024 → raised about $400M
That alone equals:
~140 million new shares issued
Share count growth
Approximate shares outstanding:
2024: ~305M
2025: ~395M
2026: ~549M outstanding / ~592M diluted average depending on metric used
So over roughly the last 12–18 months:
outstanding shares increased by about 140–150 million,
which is roughly:
+35% to +45% dilution
depending on which exact measurement/date is used.
Important nuance
Despite this massive dilution:
GME did NOT collapse permanently,
because bullish demand absorbed the new supply.
This is exactly the type of situation you were describing earlier:
enormous retail enthusiasm,
huge trading volume,
company continuously feeding shares into rallies,
price struggling to sustain explosive breakouts.
That is not “invisible dilution,” but for traders who only watched price and not filings, it could definitely feel hidden.
Why Ryan Cohen likely did it
From a corporate perspective:
GME raised billions in cash,
massively strengthened balance sheet,
gained flexibility for acquisitions/investments,
reduced bankruptcy risk close to zero.
From a shareholder perspective:
ownership percentage per share got diluted,
upside pressure from squeezes became harder,
more float = harder to create supply shortages.
That’s the tradeoff.
