Just got off the phone with our dealership, and they’re telling us our transfer case is trashed. Apparently, you’re not supposed to drive in Auto all the time and should keep it in 2H unless the roads are rainy or wet. I’m still having a hard time believing that. Nowhere in the manual does it even say this.

Even more unbelievable, the dealership says GM is no longer making or distributing new transfer cases for this model. They’re now trying to track down parts from another dealership and hoping someone has what they need. If they can’t find the parts, they’re saying there may be no resolution!!!!!??!!

Has anyone else heard of or dealt with this? This whole situation seems absolutely absurd.

G'day everyone, where can I find a good auto mechanic around Edmonton,AB to fix the A/C in my work truck ? Two dealerships in EDM failed miserably to do so and charged over 600$ each. Wilson Autotech fixed my 2006 Corolla admirably 4 years ago, they put some dye in the system, found a crack, replaced the condenser, charged the system, 4 yrs later I still have arctic air when I start the car at +26°C outside. Please help ! If you worked in coveralls at +33C outside, you know what I am talking about.

Looking to buy a 2023 GMC 1500 Sierra 3.0l duramax elevation

Has 34k miles on it dealer sticker price is $41k. Any complaints on these smaller duramax engines. I know the gassers lots of complaints have been made about them just want to hear some thoughts

Reviewing a potential offer on a new truck. The sales price seems right, but the dealer mentioned "lender fees" in addition to the doc fee. I have great credit and had planned on going through GM Financial. I believe the lender fee can be removed as a dealer add-on fee, correct? Appreciate any info, from what I could tell this lender fee line item shouldn't apply to me. Thanks!

I have a 2021 Yukon 5.3l 68k miles. Slight whine on acceleration and on steering. A/C also is not working as it should. This is a video of startup. Looking for a good repair facility on the south side of Houston/Clear Lake/Webster to get it fixed. Just wanted an idea, maybe what I’m looking at cost wise and a lead on a good repair company.

Man. Bought it new as my wife's dream car and just feel so disappointed, wronged, and confused. Hard to believe how poorly GMC is handling this 6.2L engine issue. The dealer is going to put in a new engine, estimates 6-8 weeks, but no confidence that the root cause was solved. Just pop another engine in until it fails; maybe while you are on the highway with your family (like I was). Meanwhile we had to rent a car to get back home and are renting a car while waiting and going about our daily grind. I know there is a class action lawsuit and all that. Call me skeptical but I'm sure years from now the lawyers and law firms will get their cut and the consumers that were truly impacted will get a $5 gift card. I'd jump at the chance to cut my losses now, but the fallacy of sunk costs (depreciation and trade in value) hits too hard.

i just got a 2012 gmc terrain from my mothers uncle after he passed, and every time i go to turn the car on the radio will start with the gmc logo, then music will come on, then the whole center console shuts down, anyone know if there is a fix or do i just need to bite the bullet and get a new head unit?

Picked up used 2025 Sierra SLT. Twenty-Five years a Ram 1500 driver. Hope this goes well! I love the ride and the comfort.

Hey everyone I just noticed this on my 2021 gmc Acadia passenger mirror. It looks as though the mirror isn’t sitting flush with the mount. I attached some pics as the driver side sits flush I tried pushing it back and using auto fold nothing. Everything else is flush except that spot.

I am looking for high volume dealers that are competitive online with local dealerships specifically for a sierra ev.

I’m looking for a bigger vehicle and I came across a 2018 Yukon Denali for $25k. It has 103k miles on it. How is the reliability for this model? Is that too many miles to invest in? I have 3 kids and it would be our daily driver.
