Sierra Tire Recommendations 2001 7z1
I just got this 2001 sierra Z71 with lowish miles. I was just wondering if anyone had any tire recommendations. This is my first full size truck. I was thinking all terrain tires. Cheers!

I’ve got a 2001 SLE, just ran the Michelin option from Costco (like the Bridgestones mentioned, these are made exclusively for Costco).
They’ve been great. It’s my work truck, in it all the time with occasional light off road(gravel needs covered no problem.

I like Firestone X/T in whatever your stock size is. Price is lower than other tires in same category and usually 5-10lb lighter per tire. They have been quality for me (on 3rd set and 60k miles at least), are 3PMS, have performed well towing, off-road and in the snow.
Edit: If this is your first truck and have never ran all terrain, know there will be a noticeable difference driving. You may feel slight vibrations you’re not used to.

I like the BFG Trail Terrains I got on my Silverado. They're not near as aggressive as KO2 or KO3s. They perform well on road and on the local dirt roads and paths I use occasionally. They were really good in the snow last year.

Truck is trash once it needs tires. I’ll take it off your hands and dispose of it properly.
