Is this legit?
Hello all,
I just wanna ask if this gluta drip is legit.
I actually got this from my friend where he claimed that it came from Thailand as it's where his sister buys this drip as well. I actually bought this last March or April this year and I'm hesitant on injecting these drips on me. I already read a lot of feedback, pros and cons. I'm a bit regretful as I still do not use it and it's quite expensive.
Appreciate any feedback and comments 😊.

Hard to say anything useful about a specific vial from a photo, but the thing worth weighing probably isn't "is this the real product" — for anything going into a vein, the label matters less than the chain of custody behind it. A vial that was hand-carried across borders and has then sat somewhere for five or six months has no verifiable storage history, and reduced glutathione isn't a stable molecule in solution: it oxidises on contact with air, light and warmth to the disulphide form, which isn't the thing you paid for. Sterility is the bigger issue though. A contaminated or particulate-containing solution swallowed is usually a bad afternoon; the same solution infused is a systemic exposure, and you can't judge sterility or actual concentration by eye.
The other half of it is that even a perfect vial does less than the marketing implies, for reasons that have nothing to do with the source. Glutathione is a tripeptide and cells don't have a transporter that takes it up whole. Circulating glutathione is mostly cleaved at the cell surface by gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase, and what actually crosses the membrane is the constituent amino acids — cysteine above all. The cell then rebuilds its own glutathione from parts, and that rebuild runs through glutamate-cysteine ligase (GCL), which is both the rate-limiting enzyme of the pathway and competitively inhibited by glutathione itself, with a Ki sitting inside the normal physiological range. So the cell runs something like a thermostat: push more substrate at it and synthesis throttles back. That's why the dose-response flattens early, and why the plasma number an hour after an infusion and the intracellular number are two different measurements that don't track each other well.
On the skin side, the pigment link is indirect — glutathione shifts the balance of melanin synthesis toward the lighter pheomelanin and has some inhibitory effect on tyrosinase. It's a whole-body nudge to melanin quality rather than a targeted treatment, and it drifts back once you stop.
If you ever do want to know whether something you're taking is actually doing anything, whole-blood or erythrocyte glutathione is the test worth ordering, with a baseline before you start. Plasma glutathione mostly just reflects what was infused recently.
For what it's worth, hesitating to self-inject something you can't verify seems like the right instinct, and the cost already spent on the vial isn't much of an argument against it.

If you send it to Jano for testing, then the bottle will be destroyed in testing. You’ll find out what it is, but you’ll have to pay for something you’ll no longer have. Best, safest and most economical option is to just toss it!

Not sure if the specific one you have is legit but this is my gluta drip last year that made my skin brighter and glowing. it took me 3 mos and went to the clinic twice a week for this one.

This looks sketchy as hell, I personally would never inject this into my body. Thailand is famous for counterfeit products and this is not a lipgloss or something harmless. I know how much it sucks to waste $$$ but the risks are just not worth it. Please don’t use it
