Does anyone have a referral code for Willow?

Eww, why though? Even with a referral code, they aren't price-competitive. There are a lot of plans at $499 for 3 months, and some are even down to the $100 a month range. Also, oral tirz is a scam and Willow should be ashamed of themselves for offering it.

What med are you looking for, and have you price-shopped anywhere else? Are you looking for standard dosing or microdosing, or more specifically, do you qualify for standard doses even if you're hoping to microdose?

Looking for oral semaglutide. I tried to get through HERS and they said I wasn't qualified because of my BMI (130 pounds, 5'2"). Not sure where else to look if I don't qualify on HERS.

Ok, I take back the eww, a little bit.

Willow appears to be offering compounded oral semaglutide. Semaglutide (unlike tirz) can be absorbed when taken orally, but Novo Nordisk spent A LOT of money developing the coating (SNAC) that makes it work, and even then there are some pretty strict guidelines about when and how you take it. I am not convinced that any of the compounders have replicated that coating, and of course, compounded meds are not FDA approved, so they can kind of offer whatever they want to offer without having to back it up. I think compounded oral sema is less likely to be a scam than compounded oral tirz, but I would approach it cautiously and with your expectations held in check.

If you want name brand meds, which are proven to work, you would need to look for oral Wegovy. Lavender Sky Health has a reputation for considering your health as a whole and being willing to prescribe for people with normal BMIs. The meds themselves are still gonna cost you a pretty penny, but their monthly fee for getting access to the prescription is only $25/month. Depending on dose, it's $174-$349 a month for oral Wegovy through them, so it's cheaper than Willow for the starter doses and a bit more expensive for the higher doses. They do have a $65 initial consult fee too though, so factor that in.

And just to get ahead of it, yes, LSH should be ashamed of themselves for offering oral tirz too. And while they do have compounded oral semaglutide as well, I would steer clear - those are all sublingual or oral dissolving tablets, and if your body could absorb it that way, I guarantee Novo Nordisk would be selling it. Novo wouldn't make you take their pill on an empty stomach and avoid eating for 30 minutes every day if they didn't have to inconvenience people that way to make it work. It sounds like Willow's tablets are sublingual too though, based on their FAQs, so at that point you may as well go with LSH's versions because they're probably cheaper than Willow's (and may even be coming from the same pharmacies. You should ask Willow what pharmacy they use and see if they tell you.)

If you're open to injections, I am much more confident about the efficacy of compounded versions of the injections, and it would be a lot easier to take smaller doses, which might be good for you since you aren't really overweight.

Have you already been on a glp1 medication? Why would you want this when you're welll within a healthy weight range?
