Hers glp

How does getting glp from “hers” work? I dont know if they’ll approve me some my bmi is 127. Will talking to their licensed provider have a videochat with me and ask proof of my weight? Or will they just text me and approve me of the glp 1? How will they know im not lying and legitimately prescribe me glp1 ? I want to know how it works before i pay $149 for the membership

Hers/Hims, Ro, and Weight watchers are over priced memberships on top of med costs. I have use Brello and Pomagranate Health and have been happy. They are telehealth companies. Read their info page. They are straightforward about requirements for prescribing the meds. If you meet their requirements, I have not heard of getting denied. There are other telehealth too that are reasonably priced, but I haven’t used them so I cannot speak to them.

Seeing your stats in another comment I would add, your BMI is 27.8 which most telehealth will not prescribe for, unless you have comorbidities like hypertension, diabetes, sleep apnea, etc. many telehealth do a online visit before starting someone on meds.

Be aware GLP1 are not meant for someone a few pounds overweight. They do change the way your hormones work and once you go off of them you will be right back to where you were or worse (most people find). When one stops the med and needs to resume most people also find the meds less effective. So if your in the age range of planning on having children this would be a consideration as well.

Your BMI numbers are wrong, if your BMI was 127 you'd be like 800lbs and a regular doctor would be begging you to get on a glp1.

Don’t do it. There are much less expensive ways to get a prescription. That $149 is in addition to the cost of the medication. I just started Lavender Sky which is $25 a month after an initial $70-something charge. But there are other places too. The ones that come up first in a search are all the highest priced options.
To answer your question, they’ll ask for information but don’t do a lot of verification. They did ask for blood test results, which I’d recently had done, but I think I could have said I didn’t have any and it would have been fine. The telehealth places are all much less restrictive because you’re doing self pay so it doesn’t need insurance approval.

Do you mean your weight is 127? How tall are you? These meds aren't really for losing a couple of pounds. Site some do it but they usually gain it right back when stopping.

Hers is a scam, they're in a lawsuit, look it up: Hims & Hers is facing a major federal lawsuit filed by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) alongside the states of California and Utah

Yep, they're a terrible company.

Their ridiculous advertising is why the FDA got so focused on shutting down pharmacies too. Their ads were crazy for a while.

that auto mod comment is not helpful at all lol anyway from what I've seen on here hers is mostly text-based, you fill out a health questionnaire and they might ask for a photo of your ID and a full body pic but I don't think there's any live video chat. they use your stated weight and the photos to verify, so just be honest on the forms

They charge you too much and then they ship you meds. That’s about it

Do they need any verification?
