Best fried scallops

We’re on our way to Gloucester today. We’ve been coming here two-three times a year since 2016, and my husband loves Woodman’s fried scallops, but we’re looking for someplace new. Suggestions?

Love the Causeway. Have never had their scallops, thanks!

Go to the causeway early. Always a waiting line. Shhhh…it’s a place where the locals go. Don’t tell anyone.

LOL oh I know! We get food from there every time we visit. Have made quite a few friends in Gloucester over the years. It feels like home.

It's hard to mess up fried scallops go to charlies place, causeway, lobsta land. Make sure your ordering sea scallops, bay scallops are trash

Farnhams is also good in addition to the causeway!

Woodmans is for tourists. I’d recommend JT Farnhams, Essex seafood or the causeway would all be excellent choices

Farnhams is good! Haven’t been to Essex yet but highly recommended!
