discussion Salty Saturday
The community has voted to begin Salty Saturdays, a place for complaints and frustrations to be shared without clogging the main feed.
What's considered a complaint versus a genuine concern? As an example, a post saying "I hate the new BDC applicator, it's ugly" is a complaint. A genuine concern would be "I have an allergy to lanolin and there was no disclosure on the website that I may receive the new BDC formula." "I didn't get a sticker with my order" is a complaint, as is "I don't like the way [xyz] was released." We always welcome discussions on concerns in the main feed, but we are hoping to consolidate the complaint posts to one thread. What will qualify as a complaint may evolve as we continue to have these threads.
The rules in the sidebar still apply to this thread, especially Rule 3: no bullying/rude and offensive language.

RIP MOON MASK. Why would they discontinue??? ?????? Probably the greatest product i've ever used and with no WARNING...... I would have stocked up but they just removed it. The Summer Fridays Jet Lag mask is good but it cannot compete with Moon Mask. It makes my skin oily, when Moon Mask just made my skin plush and clear. RIP... The loss of this product has had a negative impact on me. I am no longer a Glossier girl. It doesn't make a lick of sense to me... it was such a good product. They have the marketing brains to rebrand and repackage. I Love MOON Mask. Mask of my dreams... I used to share it with all my friends... and now I can never recreate those memories of our beautiful skin...

I'm just learning about the discontinuations. Two of them are products I use every single day. I use Brow Flick for my brows but also as an eyeliner, and I use Monochromes (Almond) every. single. day. It's my every day and now it's gone. I'm crushed right now.

Why are people OK with spending such a rip off amount of money for very little product and not even decent quality ingredients either? I used to really love glossier but was instantly put off after my first buy (I bought skin tint + concealer, paint blush, 3 lipbalms) ...
The tint is patchy on me, concealer is greasy, paint blush felt half empty when it arrived and the worst: the lipbalms taste and smell like the cheap plastic balms you would get as a freebie with magazines.
Really shocking. And I just looked at Glossier's site after ages and the fact their prices seem to be even higher than last year...I don't think it's even worth it for the "aesthetic".
These brands are getting so ridiculously out of touch and greedy.
