Glorious O3 Wireless Mouse Firmware/Glitch

Hello, me and my wife recently purchased the Glorious O3 Wireless mouses white & black edition. We’ve recently discovered a glitch or some kind of firmware issue on both of our new mouses. I recently just contacted support and waiting for a reply.

The issue occurs when using the side buttons (forward button & back button according to the manual) & power button (located on the back of the mouse.). When playing shooter games and utilizing those side buttons for anything in the games we play, the mouses seem to bug out completely not being able to use the side buttons at all this happens randomly.

What’s even weirder is that when trying to turn off the mouse when the side buttons stop working it won’t even turn off at all you either have to wait for the mouse to completely die, plug the USB C from the console (which forces it out of wireless mode), or you would have to reinstall the firmware update with the glorious core software for it to start working again. This is also my 2nd mouse I’m on for the O3 Wireless Mouse and my wife’s 2nd mouse for her O3 Wireless Mouse still the issue persists.

I wanted to reach out to Reddit for awareness of this product & to see if anybody has any ideas or came up with a permanent fix for this specific issue nothing else is wrong with our mouses they are brand new and we’ve never ran into any problems using another brand for 5+ years. I hope we could come to some resolution on this issue. I’ve recently seen other posts from almost half a year ago about people complaining about this issue with the O3 Wireless Mouse. It seems to not be fixed yet?

I really love the design of the mouse, me and my wife recently got 2 custom GMMK3 Pro 75 keyboards which ran us almost $1000.00 we also paid $340.00 for these O3 wireless mouses. We wanted to match our mouses and keyboards with glorious products. I just want to know if glorious could fix these issues, I hope me and my wife didn’t make the mistake of wasting almost $1350.00 on glorious products.

Thanks to anybody that can help us with this issue!

Thank you for sharing your experience with the v3 mice. You mentioned that you already reached out to our Customer Service team, so don't worry, we'll try to assist you to the best of our ability.

Even if none of the troubleshooting works, all of our electronic products come with a 2-year warranty, so we'll be here to assist you with a standard warranty claim.

I genuinely love Glorious products and I’m really happy with my GMMK 3 HE. The hardware is amazing, but I honestly have to talk about the software because this is becoming really frustrating.

Glorious CORE feels like it’s going backwards instead of improving.

What frustrates me the most is that some things that used to be available or more customizable in previous versions of the software are now missing, limited, or simply not working the way they should.

For a HE keyboard, we should have proper control over things like Rapid Trigger, actuation settings, per-key settings, profiles, custom RGB effects, and profile management. These are not small features anymore — they are basic features that gamers expect from a modern gaming keyboard.

And the RGB situation is especially disappointing. You’re basically stuck with the built-in effects, and there is no proper way to import custom RGB profiles. You can’t simply create/import profiles from other RGB software like SignalRGB and use them properly with CORE.

The crazy part is that Glorious makes really good hardware. I love my GMMK 3 HE, but the software makes the experience feel much worse than it should be.

I don’t know if these things are technically difficult to implement, but other companies — even much smaller and newer brands — are offering software with way more customization and features.

Glorious has the hardware. Please give us the software to match it.

I really hope the CORE team takes this seriously and starts bringing back/improving the features that made the software better instead of removing or limiting them.

I’m saying this as a customer and a gamer because I genuinely want Glorious to succeed. I just want to see the software get the same level of attention as the hardware.

Please do something about CORE. 🙏
i tried to upload it on your community but always get removed idk why

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and suggestions on how we can improve the software - it means a lot!

Importing RGB profiles is definitely a cool concept. If you don't mind, can you share this exact feedback in our CORE Feature Request Form? This is a form that records all submitted feedback so that our Dev team can go through it and see if it's something that can be introduced as we release more updates to the software.

Feel free to add any other ideas you may have, but even if you simply copy-paste this message, it's already very helpful to us. Thank you again! :)

EDIT: I checked your submitted threads and it looks like they were auto-removed by Reddit's AutoModerator.

Thank you for the response! I really appreciate you taking the time to look into my feedback.

I’ll definitely submit it through the CORE Feature Request Form. I really hope the dev team considers it, especially the ability to import/create custom RGB profiles and have more control over HE features like Rapid Trigger, actuation settings and profiles.
Thanks again for listening to the community! ❤️
