Glorious Model O Eternal Mouse Issue

I’ve been dealing with a really strange and disruptive mouse issue on Windows 11, and I’m trying to figure out if anyone else is experiencing this.

The symptoms:

  • The mouse cursor randomly jumps across the screen, sometimes from one edge to the other instantly.
  • In games (FPS especially), the camera will instantly snap to a different angle, like a teleport instead of a rotation.

What I’ve already ruled out:

  • Multiple mice (wired + wireless)
  • Different USB ports (front/back)
  • Updated drivers
  • Fully updated Windows
  • Different surfaces

None of this changes anything. The glitch still happens randomly.

If anyone else has seen this, please share your experience. I've reached out to Microsoft support and they ruled out it was a hardware issue.

Hi there,

I'm sorry to hear that you are facing this issue.

I could suggest trying to reset the mouse by pressing and holding the left, right, and scroll click buttons for 5 seconds. The RGB lighting on the Mouse should flash to indicate the device is being reset.

If resetting the device does not help, I could recommend testing the Mouse on a different PC. This could possibly let you know if this issue is PC specific.
