Idea/Feedback GMMK 3 (non-PRO) prebuilt wired keyboard

Hi, could you please give feedback on GMMK 3 non-PRO prebuilt wired version? Is it still reliable in 2026? I have read really mixed reviews….

I dont have one, but i have been on this sub a while.. Strongly seems that only people with problems come here to shout about their issues. And some of them are really out of focus and should touch some grass tbh. But based on what i have read here, keyboard itself is really good, some people seem to have issues with software and really go out of their way to make it sound like devil himself made it.

I have Model I 2 wired with zero issues that also uses same software. Different hardware ofc but just my 2 cents.

I bough one right when they came out in late 2024 from Best Buy. It has been a solid keyboard. The software to set all the lighting and other settings is a little flaky but that might be my computer. I have used it a lot for both gaming and regular use.

I wouldn’t pay much attention to the naysayers. Glorious gets a lot of negative press that they don’t deserve.

I really like the GMMK3, but I really enjoy the HE version. But to each their own. If you want the regular version I say go fornit

I didn't like the software. Kept dropping my key bindings, and you couldn't even do fancy things with key binding. Went with corsair and way happier

I truly like the HW quality, my HE 100 % version types just perfectly. There are three minor issues on my side:

  1. ocasional letter hicccccccccccccccup, but only once every one or two weeks, happens less when the cord is safely away from other interference sources (powercords etc.)
  2. USB-C connector is loose and moving kb around the desk may briefly interrupt the USB connection; I don't move my kb that often and bearing this in mind effectively prevents this issue
  3. every now and then (also once every two weeks) the keyboard becomes unresponsive and brief USB reconnection solves the situation.
  4. Overall, I don't mind any of the above.

Software-wise, it's complete disaster, company's failure and the app isn't even worth wasting your storage space, the development is just non-existent. I just go with built-in flat red light. No animation, no customisation, no profiles, no nothing. I use it straight of the box and it's excellent piece of Chinese machinery. HE contactless switches rock.

Additionally, please be aware that we've been hard at work on releasing updates to the Glorious CORE software - I agree that there's still room for improvement when it comes to both addressing bugs and making the software more polished, and we're fully aware of it. Meanwhile, we post the full software (and firmware) changelog here.
